Chelan Century Challenge

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Chelan. A rigorous and and scenic 100 mile bike ride with proceeds benefiting youth enrichment programs locally and internationally. A second ride is the Family Ride and Boat Cruise- 18 miles along Lake Chelan shores includes lunch in Manson and a ride across to the State Park on the classic Dean Martin Yacht, Innamorata. Chelan XC Classic

This event is on of the nations top events of the summer season. Hang glider pilots come from all over the United States and the World to attend this event. Pilots choose either a straight line, out and return or triangle course. Pilots launch from the world renown Chelan Butte approximately 10am, wheather permitting.

Featuring all seven traditional events, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down Roping, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding. In addtion, a local open team roping section, kid's chicken race, and rodeo entertainment acts are featured. Rodeo begins at 8pm both nights.

Via McNeil Canyon -- Average 2 1/2 hours: On Hwy 2 head West to Coulee City. Continue West to Hwy 17. Drive North on Hwy 17 to Hwy 172. Drive through Mansfield. Following signs to Lake Chelan continue down McNeil Canyon to Beebe Bridge Park. Taking a right on Hwy 97 cross Beebe Bridge. Take an immediate left after crossing the Columbia River over the Beebe Bridge. Hwy 150 comes right onto Woodin Avenue in to downtown Chelan. Approx. 153 miles
